I have actually started writing it. I have only done 267 words out of 15,000 but still I have started and it feels a bit strange to be honest. Like stepping into an unknown world and not really being sure of how to behave in it. I have done very little planning for this so it is definitely going to be a case of learning and organising whilst I write, which hasn;t really been my usual style with most my essays until now but I don;t really have much choice in this case because of time constraints. I've written a rough draft of the rationale but I am not really sure how to link the two ideas of disciplinary differences in writing and students development as they progress from school to university. Ah! I think I've got an idea, it came to me when I was writing the last sentence, wow it really works you can actually get ideas get ideas whilst you write!
