My results so far are disappointing 
There is very little difference amount of Topical and Marked Theme in different years of study. There is some difference between disciplines though. I am looking at Topical theme now. I should finish this analysis tomorrow and start sorting out the results and writing the discussion on Monday.

Thanks for your encouragement. I have looked at some more results and found there are some changes in other areas which is better news. The challenge now is to try and explain what I have found. Since the aim of my dissertation is description rather than proving any particular point, I will have to explain why the writing is the way it is. Good luck!

I am sorry to hear that, but my data as well is a bit disappointing as I said today. But today I considered the reasons and how to explain the result deeeeeeply! So I came up with satisfactory ideas to support my idea. I will keep insisting on my claim paying attention to the limitations and answering the pitfalls of my claim. Even though the claim can be simply described, I think how to express with robust supprting statements is important in my case. Wish you luck!! You can attain good standard of work finally!
