I have most of my results now. I have to give my discussion section to my supervisor by the 24th August, so I need to do a lot of work in the next week! I know what most of the trends are in my data. Now I need to explain these trends. I can do this with reference to the literature and with reference to the design of my research. If I try to draw on any other explanations, I think I'll be told that I am only speculating. So today I am going to finish finding trends in my data, list the main findings of my research and start looking back at my literature review and thinking about how I can explain what I have found.
